MICHELLE CARLISLE is an entertainer and performer, teacher, accompanist and songwriter/composer & arranger.
Michelle is a flute, whistle, piano, and music theory teacher in North Delta, BC. Michelle offers private music lessons as well as group lessons in the Delta, Surrey, and Vancouver areas. With over 20 years experience in teaching and performing, lessons are geared towards beginners especially whether youth or adult, but all are welcome.

Michelle is also a singer and performs with flute, piccolo, irish whistle and fifes. She performs with Celtic folk band, Blackthorn. Michelle is also a part of the East-Coast Classic Rock group The Halifax Wharf Rats, where she adds keyboards as well as her flutes and vocals. Both groups are based in Vancouver, BC.
With Caviar & Lace, Michelle offers a variety of styles of music for weddings, performing for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Caviar & Lace adds an elegant and sophisticated touch as well to intimate gatherings of any kind, for example anniversaries and birthday parties. See “Performance” tab for more information.
What sets Michelle apart from other singers and flute players is her vivacious approach to music and life. She is adept with all of her varied instruments, playing multiple instruments during most performances. Michelle’s vocals have been highlighted in reviews for years as being “angelic” and “ethereal”. Michelle connects to people in a way other performers are rarely willing to do – due to her contagious enjoyment of music - others can’t help but be carried along with her. She puts so much of herself into her art that you can't help but feel alive, regardless if it's a ballad that pulls at your heart strings or her fast fingers playing an invigorating, passionate melody.
