People don’t realize that they can have their very own musical event at their home! 😊
Musicians LOVE to play house concerts (whether in the home itself, or outdoors on the patio or in the garden) because it allows us to be able to connect more easily with people. An intimate and cozy gathering with professional music. None or very little sound equipment is needed ~ just musicians and a space to play. Audience? All they need are seats and a nice cool drink – it’s very common for people bring their own (seats and/or drinks!) The host can supply some if they like, snacks too, that’s all up to you. Collect some cash from the attendees and the musicians go home happy, having played music curated to your particular event or family members. There are no rules to this, so it’s whatever suits your event!
You don’t have a lot of matching chairs? Nobody cares! Lawn chairs, piano benches.. or ask your neighbours/family to bring something with them. Very low key, this kind of event.
