“There’ll be Bluebirds Over The White Cliffs of Dover” is a classic “War Years” song, made famous by Dame Vera Lynn. I’m personally attached to this song because it’s so evocative and beautiful, but also because my Great Uncle Tom was Vera Lynn’s piano player for BBC Radio!
